The Mifflin-St Jeor formula is one of the most recent formulas for calculating calorie needs for optimal weight loss or maintaining a healthy weight. It was developed in 2005 by a group of American dietitians under the leadership of Drs. Mifflin and St Jeor.

You simply need to enter your age, height, and weight, as well as indicate your gender and level of physical activity. Remember that this formula is only applicable to individuals aged 13 to 80 years.
